A top of the range modern distillery, Macduff was founded in 1962. Often released under the name Glen Deveron, this distillery only releases 10% of its output as bottled single malt.
The vast majority of its whisky is used to contribute to its parent company Bacardi’s Blended Whiskies such as William Lawson and Dewar’s. The former whisky is extremely popular across Eastern Europe particularly Latvia, which is the 5th largest scotch drinking market on the planet. Meanwhile Dewar’s is the most popular scotch in the US.
