There’s more composure here than expected. Springbank’s 15 Year Old is a classic Campbeltown malt that layers flavour with a quiet kind of confidence, never shouting but always holding your attention. On the nose, toffee, natural caramel and vanilla sit alongside rich malt, dried fruit and a gentle trace of woodsmoke. The palate is sweet and full-bodied, moving through raisins, nuts and peppery spice with a silky texture that feels both indulgent and structured. With notes of cocoa, hazelnut and soft vanilla, it has a satisfyingly long finish, making it the kind of whisky that keeps revealing a little more each time you come back to it.
