The 2016 vintage reflects a drier growing season, resulting in a wine of exceptional purity, structure and detail.A Rhône-inspired blend led by Syrah, it reveals aromas of black olive, wild blackberry and violets alongside fynbos, cracked pepper and savoury herbs. The palate is finely textured rather than weighty, with layers of dark fruit, iron-rich minerality and beautifully integrated tannins carrying through to a long, saline finish.
