Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu The London Edition 2026 is the ninth release in this highly collectible UK-exclusive series, and the third and final bottle in the warrior sequence that began in 2024. The whisky brings together 16 casks of Japanese single malt distilled at Chichibu, including two wine casks sourced from New Zealand and California, with the remainder matured in first- and second-fill bourbon barrels. That combination gives Chichibu’s naturally bright, fruit-led spirit extra depth without losing its elegance. Vanilla and honey open alongside whipped cream and grapefruit peel, followed by apricot, peach and a richer stone-fruit character across the palate. Sweet vanilla custard and cracked white pepper carry the finish. Bottled at 50.5% ABV, it’s vibrant, refined and beautifully balanced, with the limited warrior artwork adding further appeal for collectors.
