Nose - Sandalwood and polished wood lead the way, opening into warm spices - clove, ginger, caraway - and bright citrus oils. Dark fruit follows, with plum and blackcurrant wrapped in soft brown sugar and toasted cinnamon.

Palate - Blackcurrant sweets and ripe tropical fruit meet layers of dusty spice in the form of clove, cumin and star anise. A gentle dryness develops, bringing notes of fresh coffee, mint and liquorice.

Finish - Blood orange marmalade lingers with a wisp of incense smoke and a savoury hint of dried herbs. The kind of finish you’ll be thinking about long after the glass is empty.
