This is the kind of bottle that doesn’t just sit on a shelf, it reigns over it. The 1970s release of Rémy Martin’s Louis XIII is a liquid time capsule: a rare edition from the maison’s flagship range. It’s carefully crafted using a blend of up to 1,200 eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from the Grande Champagne region, some aged for up to a century.Encased in its now-iconic Baccarat crystal decanter, this edition captures the opulence and mastery that defines Louis XIII, but with the added mystique and collectibility of a vintage bottling from nearly fifty years ago. Smooth, layered, and endlessly expressive, this is a legacy in a bottle.
Nose - Deep, luxurious aromas of candied orange peel, jasmine and toasted almond rise gently, grounded by old leather and antique oak.
Palate - Velvety and composed. Layers of dried fig, honey and rich vanilla glide across the palate, balanced by delicate florals, spiced oak and a gentle heat that whispers, not shouts.
Finish - Long, graceful, and warming, with soft spice and lingering echoes of orchard fruit and aged wood.
