Star Hill Farm Whisky 2026 continues Maker’s Mark’s exploration of wheat, the grain that has defined its softer house style for generations. Produced entirely at the Kentucky estate and certified by the Estate Whiskey Alliance, it brings together soft red winter, hard red and hard white wheat grown with a focus on regenerative farming. The final whisky blends two distinct mash bills, including a heavily malted wheat component, before seven- and eight-year-old stocks are bottled at natural cask strength of 58.2% ABV. Darker and more layered than the inaugural release, it opens with molasses, fig and gentle baking spice before moving into ripe pear, bright citrus and buttery shortbread. A soft cinnamon warmth carries through the finish. Rich, expressive and quietly experimental, it shows a familiar distillery stepping confidently beyond bourbon without losing sight of the land behind it.
