The Aberturret is a handcrafted Scottish London Dry Gin from The Glenturret, bringing the expertise of Scotland’s oldest working distillery into a spirit built around freshness, texture and complexity. Fourteen carefully selected botanicals are distilled alongside a measure of The Glenturret’s single malt new make spirit, whose natural maltiness gives the gin an unusually smooth, creamy weight. Juniper leads the way, lifted by lime peel, grapefruit and lemon zest, with chamomile, pine and pink peppercorn adding floral and gently spicy detail. Sumac brings a subtle earthy sweetness, while touches of toasted marshmallow, lemon sherbet and liquorice carry the finish. Bottled at 45% ABV and presented in an emerald-green bottle designed by Lalique, it feels both classical and distinctive. Bright enough for a Gin & Tonic yet textured enough for a Martini or Negroni, it is a thoughtful meeting of traditional gin distillation and The Glenturret’s whisky-making character.
