The vineyard benefits from the region’s favorable climate and well-draining limestone-rich clay soils, which contributes to the wine’s mineral character and its ability to reflect the terroir. he 2001 vintage in Burgundy was considered a good year, with a generally warm growing season that produced ripe and balanced wines. Claire Naudin involves traditional Burgundy techniques, including hand-harvesting of the grapes, careful sorting, and fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks.
