2023 stands out as one of the longest, coolest growing seasons for the Ridge Estate Chardonnay. The grapes are sourced entirely from the Monte Bello vineyard where the high quantity of limestone in the soils helped yield a bumper crop in 2023. This lovely chardonnay opens with orange peel, buttery banana, apple blossom, and sage. The palate is creamy and textured, with honeyed peach, vanilla, and soft oak spices. It concludes with a dash of tropicality and toasted hazelnut flakes.
